lissa_quonAlright, another week, another art post.
Not much to report, went job hunting with a friend, and ended up spending money I shouldn't have on comics. Though I did manage to keep my spending under twenty bucks (JUST) so thats at least a vague accomplishment.
Ok, so lots of WIP stuff this week. Theres been more page updates on The Project I hope after this particular scene the page layouts will go faster. Though I do think I am rather slowly getting the hang of this.
Now on this blog:
Actual roughs for more of the steam punk characters, Mummies! Flame Throwers, Girls! Robotic Brains in Jars! Might shake things up on this one a bit more, but hey, its at least a step towards something being done.
And an experiment in cheesecake pin ups to help pad the convention print book. Not done with this, the colors need to be done, and the tats need to be redone.
The convention I may or may not be working on has a strict fan art policy, which means alot of my top sellers (including the one naked girl picture I have) have to be removed from the print book. So I am trying to replace the fan service.
The tattoos are a result of the fact I felt kinda bad doing straight up cheesecake and also the fact that I have had Groucho Marx singing "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" stuck in my head for the past week.
And now more character studies for The Project. This is Commander Larendon Talend Verat Fulcat - but you can call him Larry. I won't say anything else on this subject.
